My
Story
At a young age I was able to witness and understand the business of Real Estate by being around my Dad who has been a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson for over 31 years with Maier Real Estate. Growing up, I got to spend many afternoons with my father using paper maps to find the locations of new Agency listings placing For Sale signs. Many weekend afternoons helping at open houses and many snowy winter days plowing driveways and parking lots of the properties which Maier Real Estate owns and maintains.

Growing up I took a keen interest in the Property Management end of Real Estate focusing on residential and commercial Landscaping, Snow Removal and Mowing. Throughout my youth up until the present I have spent many hot summer days mowing, mulching and maintaining customer lawns and many cold sleepless nights plowing driveways and Commercial/Industrial sites so that when AM hits it can be business as usual.

As I got older I pursued an education at the University of New Haven where I earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MBA. From there my career path has led me to work full time for the past 16+ years as a Plant Maintenance & Operations Manager in the Commercial/Industrial end of Manufacturing. Within this field my duties include maintaining the 24/7/365 operation of a multi-million-dollar manufacturing facility from the floor to the ceiling including all operational assets which keep the business fruitful on a daily basis. Because of this I have developed a portfolio of reliable/professional contractors in all facets of Property Maintenance, New Equipment Installations, Preventative and Predictive Maintenance including Plumbers, HVAC Technicians and Electricians. I have also honed many skills firsthand which I am able to utilize to help support both my Team and the business where I work.

Civically I am involved in the Wallingford Elks Lodge # 1365 as well as the Meriden Boys & Girls Club Alumni Association. Two great community-based organizations for which I enjoy volunteering to make our community a better place.
